May 2026: Custom Dashboards, More Widgets, and Better Analytics Components
May 28, 2026 • ShardAnalytics Team • 2 min read
May is a massive release focused on dashboard customizability, unified marketing campaign performance tracking, and direct store payment integrations.
Expanded Widget Catalog & Pre-configured Templates
We have significantly expanded our analytics library to give you more ways to visualize your network’s data:
- Catalog Expansion: The widget catalog has grown from 25 to 69 widgets. New widgets include deep-dive geographical distributions, world-level spatial metrics, JVM thread tracking, and addon-specific plugin stats.
- Templates Gallery: We added 4 new templates, bringing the total to 8 pre-configured dashboards that cover server performance optimization, player retention analysis, and store conversion funnels.
- Grid Enhancements: Rebuilt the custom dashboard drag-and-resize engine for smoother card placement and better alignment.
Unified Campaign Analytics
To support marketing sponsorships and creator programs, we launched the Campaigns Analytics system:
- Attribution Timelines: Track conversions and playtimes of users attributed to specific subdomains or creator discount codes.
- Performance Tracking: Graph views correlating campaign costs against generated store revenue to calculate Net ROI dynamically.
- Navigation & Filters: Added a dedicated Campaigns tab to the sidebar navigation with global filters for server instances and date ranges.
Payments & Store Revenue Dashboard
We integrated directly with server stores (Tebex, CraftingStore) to deliver unified monetization metrics:
- Payments Overview: Track gross income, net margins (estimated after gateway fees), and checkout conversion rates.
- Detailed Transactions Table: A searchable history of purchases with filters for package type, gateway provider, and transaction status.
- Decline Reasons: Categorized logs explaining why checkouts failed (e.g. insufficient funds, fraud blocks, gateway timeouts) to help you minimize cart abandonment.
Audit Logs & Security Operations
For large server networks with multiple staff members, we introduced the Audit Logs center:
- Operator Actions Catalog: Logs dashboard modifications, configuration changes, and API key resets.
- Permission Guards: Ensure only authorized organization owners can access settings panels or view financial transactions.
Standardized Date Range & Multi-Select Filters
We have standardized how operators filter analytics data, ensuring a unified user experience across the entire control panel:
- Custom Date Range Queries: Replaced fixed-range presets with a flexible date range selector. Operators can now specify precise start and end dates to query custom windows of telemetry data.
- Consistent Filter Interactions: Standardized UI behaviors across the control panel, ensuring that searching, sorting, and selecting multiple entries behaves identically.
- Unified Filter Bar: Offers a identical filtering workflow across all retention tables, player activity trends, store transaction sheets, and custom event logs.
