In the competitive world of Minecraft servers, player acquisition is only half the battle. Getting featured on a server list website or paying a content creator can bring a massive spike of new connections. However, if those players connect once and never return, your marketing spend is wasted.

Long-term success belongs to networks that optimize for player retention. Keeping your existing player base engaged and returning day after day is what builds a thriving community and a sustainable server economy. 1. Why Retention Matters More Than Player Spikes
