Remote Configuration
Remote Configuration (Remote Config) allows server owners to adjust plugin behavior dynamically from the ShardAnalytics dashboard.
How Remote Config Works
Section titled “How Remote Config Works”When the ShardAnalytics plugin starts, it downloads the remote configuration assigned to its Server ID. The plugin checks for configuration updates periodically.
- Zero Downtime: Changes apply dynamically in memory without requiring a Minecraft server restart.
- Local Fallbacks: If the server is offline or cannot establish a connection to the ShardAnalytics API, the connector automatically falls back to local settings to ensure uninterrupted monitoring.
Plan-Based Configuration
Section titled “Plan-Based Configuration”Configuration settings are managed directly within the ShardAnalytics dashboard. The available options and sliders are determined by your organization’s subscription plan. To view or adjust these settings, navigate to your instance settings in the dashboard.
