Create a Campaign

A campaign groups the traffic sources you want to measure together and gives them a cost, so you can compare what you spent against what came back.

Name and descriptionIdentify the campaign in lists and reports.
StatusDRAFT, ACTIVE, PAUSED, or ARCHIVED.
Start and end datesThe active window for attribution and reporting.

  1. Open Campaigns and create a new campaign.
  2. Fill in the identity, dates, cost, and currency.
  3. Add the domains and creator codes you will use.
  4. Scope the campaign to specific servers if it is not organization-wide.
  5. Set the status to ACTIVE when it launches, and PAUSED or ARCHIVED when it ends.

ROI is (revenue - cost) / cost × 100. If you compare against tools that report ROAS (a multiple), remember that a 2× ROAS equals 100% ROI before other costs.

Pausing stops new attribution without deleting history. Archiving removes the campaign from active views while keeping its data available for reporting.
